Christian socialism

Christian socialism: эк., соц. христианский социализм (разновидность социализма, выросшее из осмысления противоречий между христианскими идеями и идеей конкуренции в условиях капитализма; движение началось в Англии в 1848 г. после падения чартизма; его лидеры Ф. Морис, Ч. Кингсли, Дж. Ладлоу пытались организовать объединение трудящихся масс и церкви против капитализма, для чего публикоковали журнал и другую литературу, создавали рабочие движения; их традиции унаследовало Фабианское общество и некоторые другие социалистические течения; в США в 1889 г. было создано Общество христианских социалистов; ряд принципов христианского социализма включен в социальную доктрину современного католицизма)
